SUMMARY:<\/p>

The candidate is responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of residential builders, developers, contractors, and construction borrowers. This individual will focus on providing exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships, identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships, and developing new construction lending business while maintaining sound credit quality and risk management.<\/p>

RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>

\u00b7 Managing an established portfolio of builder and construction lending relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and serving as the primary point of contact<\/p>

\u00b7 Building long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand lending, deposit, treasury management, and other commercial banking services<\/p>

\u00b7 Developing new residential construction lending relationships through referrals, networking, community involvement, and business development efforts<\/p>

\u00b7 Originating residential construction loans, including builder guidance lines, spec home financing, pre-sold construction loans, lot loans, and residential development loans<\/p>

\u00b7 Conducting builder visits, construction site inspections, and customer meetings to strengthen relationships and identify financing opportunities<\/p>

\u00b7 Preparing credit presentations and working with Credit Administration throughout the underwriting and approval process<\/p>

\u00b7 Monitoring builder performance, inventory levels, project progress and market conditions<\/p>

\u00b7 Representing the bank within the residential construction industry and local Home Builders Associations<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

EDUCATION \/ EXPERIENCE:<\/p>

Requirements for the position include:<\/p>

\u00b7 Bachelor’s degree in a related field<\/p>

\u00b7 Minimum of three years of banking, commercial lending, mortgage lending, construction lending, business development, sales, or related financial services experience<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong relationship management, communication, and customer service skills<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities<\/p>

\u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, builder visits, loan closings, construction site inspections, and industry events<\/p>

Preferred qualifications for this position include:<\/p>

\u00b7 Proven ability to develop and manage long-term relationships with residential builders, developers, contractors, and construction borrowers<\/p>

\u00b7 Proven success in relationship management, business development, and portfolio growth<\/p>

\u00b7 Experience identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through lending, treasury management, deposit, and other commercial banking products<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong understanding of local residential housing markets, construction industry trends, and builder financing needs<\/p>

\u00b7 Knowledge of residential construction or commercial lending, credit analysis, and underwriting principles<\/p>
