As we expand into new markets, we\u2019re looking for a relationship-driven Commercial Loan Officer in the Janesville\/Beloit area to join us in helping local businesses grow, strengthening community connections, and building a thriving portfolio of satisfied customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>

\u00b7 Proactively prospect new business relationships across all areas of the bank through referrals, networking, outreach efforts, and other strategic sources.<\/p>

\u00b7 Develop, manage, and service a profitable commercial loan portfolio while maintaining strong credit quality and minimizing risk to the bank and its shareholders.<\/p>

\u00b7 Analyze borrowers\u2019 financial statements, credit histories, and collateral to determine creditworthiness; recommend or approve commercial loan requests within lending authority.<\/p>

\u00b7 Utilize external programs and resources to mitigate risk and ensure solutions align with the customer\u2019s best interests.<\/p>

\u00b7 Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities by reviewing clients\u2019 full banking relationships and collaborating with internal partners.<\/p>

\u00b7 Maintain consistent and meaningful contact with customers through regular meetings and ongoing communication.<\/p>

\u00b7 Monitor and resolve past dues, overdrafts, insurance exceptions, and financial covenant exceptions in a timely manner.<\/p>

\u00b7 Own credit quality for assigned relationships, including financial analysis, covenant monitoring, and risk grading in accordance with bank policy.<\/p>

\u00b7 Remain active in the community and local organizations to strengthen the Bank\u2019s presence and reputation.<\/p>

\u00b7 Demonstrate the ability to grow loan and deposit relationships while maintaining strong asset quality and customer satisfaction.<\/p>

EDUCATION \/ EXPERIENCE:<\/p>

\u00b7 Associate\u2019s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field required (Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred); and\/or<\/p>

\u00b7 Five or more years of experience in commercial lending, underwriting, banking, sales, or a related field.<\/p>

\u00b7 Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, regulations, and credit principles.<\/p>

\u00b7 A relationship-driven mindset with a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.<\/p>

\u00b7 Results-oriented approach with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and sound judgment.<\/p>

\u00b7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>

\u00b7 Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal partners.<\/p>
