Position Summary
SUMMARY:
Provide leadership and oversight for Business Services support of Treasury Management products and services, including direct oversight of Business Services Representatives supporting treasury functions and complex treasury service delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee and coordinate the daily operations and workflow of the Business Services Department to ensure business member and internal team requests are completed accurately, timely, and courteously, while meeting established service standards and deadlines.
· Serve as the primary escalation point and operational decision authority for the most complex and highest-risk business account and treasury service scenarios, including advanced treasury products (such as Positive Pay), larger and more complex business relationships, and non-standard onboarding or servicing requests. Exercise risk-based judgment within assigned authority limits.
· Provide direct leadership and supervision to Business Services team members, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, discipline, scheduling, and staffing decisions, while fostering engagement, accountability, and professional development.
· Provide direct oversight and operational leadership for Business Services Representatives supporting treasury functions, including workload guidance, issue resolution, portfolio support, and close collaboration with Treasury Management to ensure consistency, accuracy, and service quality.
· Actively manage team capacity, coverage, and workload distribution to maintain service levels during fluctuations in volume, staffing transitions, system changes, or organizational initiatives.
· Lead Business Services’ operational partnership with Treasury Management by driving execution, addressing operational gaps, supporting portfolio-level needs, and ensuring consistent onboarding and servicing of treasury products across business relationships. · Collaborate closely with Commercial Lending, Business Banking, and Business Loan Processing to support business account onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing business member relationships, ensuring alignment and clear communication across teams.
· Monitor department performance, work quality, efficiency, and productivity; identify operational risks and recommend or implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and scalability.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
4+ years’ experience working in a financial institution with focus on business accounts, business services, treasury management, or related commercial support functions required.
2+ years’ demonstrated leadership experience, supervisory experience, or equivalent leadership training with responsibility for coaching, decision-making, or work direction required.
