Position Summary
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall operational integrity and growth of one or more office locations. A leader that motivates and empowers team members and colleagues to attain a high level of performance and drives operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all functions of the branch operations; Teller, Member Account Representative (MAR), and other Branch Leaders within office(s). Responsible for providing a superior level of Member service through ongoing coaching, guiding and development of team members and other branch leaders. Fosters an environment of inclusion, collaboration and accountability that in turn creates and consistently maintains a highly engaged team. Responsible for the branch building, maintenance and security.
Recruit, hire, train and develop high impact talent. Conduct observations, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, schedule, and assist with conflict resolution and terminations for assigned team members.
Conduct monthly staff meetings and effectively communicate with all team members to ensure ongoing team member and branch growth and success.
Actively leads, creates and maintains highly engaged team members. Performs a full range of managerial duties, including adherence to all policies, procedures, auditing requirements, security, facilities and credit union compliance.
SCOPE:
This position reports to the Regional Director of Branch Operations.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Required
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Associate’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or the Equivalent in Experience
3. 1-3+ years working in financial services that includes experience working with new accounts, loans and loan processing, or equivalent loan related experience
4. 1 year+ supervisory experience
Preferred
5. Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or the Equivalent in Experience
6. FiCEP Certification (CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program) OR other approved financial counseling certification
