Position Summary
SUMMARY:
The Market Manager will direct the overall activities of the branch to continually and simultaneously achieve the following three overriding objectives: Serve the customers within our target market in an extraordinary manner so that our brand name and reputation continue to flourish. Earn an acceptable rate of return on our sales after incentive compensation. Invest time and money in our personnel so that they learn, grow and become better all-around employees and people and enjoy working for our company. The Market Manager will be the face of the bank in the community and will support local business development and community development activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervises Branch personnel and exhibits a leadership presence that promotes growth and development of bank staff.
· Responsible for overseeing and executing the growth of both deposits and lending through development of sales plans and production goals, including developing a strong network of internal and external contacts.
· Develop and execute strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the bank, through increasing deposit growth and lending opportunities.
· Training personnel on Company objectives and providing the necessary information to achieve those objectives; ensuring that all branch personnel understand their individual departmental objectives;
· Ensuring that personnel have the tools they need to perform their jobs satisfactorily, including approved plans, a detailed budget, etc.; personally inspecting performance to assess the progress on jobs and the game plan that personnel are employing to achieve the objectives
· Continually taking the pulse of clients through informal telephone conversations, lunch meetings, industry events, and formal customer satisfaction surveys; ensuring quick and proper responses to all reasonable customer requests
· Being available to help resolve conflicting objectives; reinforcing continuously respectful communication between all departments.
· Preparing appropriate annual, monthly, and weekly plans and ensuring that each person understands how to fit into those plans; setting reasonable goals with deadlines for completion and monitoring the compliance with such plans and achievement of such deadlines; drafting electronic correspondence, reports, and other forms of written communications.
· Represents Community Savings in the local community and further builds the reputation of the bank.
· Perform Bank Security Officer duties for physical assets, alarms, vaults, etc.

Education & Experience
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports and legal documents
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
· Be comfortable working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
