Position Summary

SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for oversight of all Commercial, Commercial Card and Treasury/Cash Management departments. Oversee 7 direct reports with 10-15 indirect across two states and four markets.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of operational plans to achieve financial goals and to promote company growth in new customers, assets and profitability including overseeing loan and deposit acquisition.

· The candidate will manage staff productivity in loans and deposits as well as supervise the operating procedures developed for promoting efficient business practices.

· The candidate will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere and image for the Bank while building a culture around quality, courtesy and service to customers.

· The candidate will participate in strategic planning while working with the Executive Team to communicate and promote the company vision.

· The candidate will also be responsible for evaluating the work of employees, monitoring communication, problem solving, one-on-one coaching, and creating action plans.

Education & Experience

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in business related field required

· Graduate School of Banking and Master’s degree a plus

· Strong leadership skills required. Need to be a “people’s manager”

· Organizational and supervisory proficiency required with the ability to create a positive atmosphere

· Demonstrated ability in external sales and building a Commercial Lending team

· Experience as a member of the Senior Executive team preferred

· Effectiveness and a business development track record required

· Significant involvement in lending, deposit, marketing and financial areas preferred.

· Minimum 15+ years’ experience with a financial/banking organization required

· Minimum 10+ years’ leadership/management experience.
