Position Summary
SUMMARY:
The IT & Compliance Officer is responsible for handling all IT and Compliance for the Bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and oversee the IT facet of Bank operations
- Coordinate and collaborate with vendors
- Focus on all areas of Compliance: BSA/AML, Lending Compliance, etc.
- Work with regulators during exams
- Train employees on compliance, as needed
Education & Experience
SCOPE:
You will be responsible for overseeing all IT & Compliance aspects of this small bank with ~$115m in assets.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Strong, proven IT experience.
- Compliance experience preferred, but willing to teach this.
- Excellent communication and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to organize workflows and prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to work tactfully and professionally with all colleagues, customers, and vendors.
- 5+ years’ experience in banking.
