Position Summary

SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for oversight of all treasury management  sales, product development, team leadership, technical and financial analysis to customers, prospects and internal commercial relationship managers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will manage and assist all TMOs, identifying opportunities and assisting commercial lenders and others as assigned in the marketing and sales of the Bank’s treasury products in order to provide timely and accurate information for the customer and prospects. Tasks include, but are not limited to driving portfolio growth by proactively consulting with existing clients, identifying needs, providing timely solutions and implementing change in person and by phone. Proactively scheduling and regularly participating in outside business development opportunities. Creating new sales opportunities by identifying their own prospects and going on calls with commercial lenders and others as assigned. This position will also have significant input for product pricing and services offered.

 

Provides guidance to the TMOs to maximize commercial deposit and fee growth in order to meet the Bank’s plan goals. Tasks include, but not limited to timely preparation of collateral marketing materials and proposals for use in presentations to garner commercial deposits; coordinating with Marketing on the design and content of materials.

 

Communicate within treasury and other departments in order to share information and promote teamwork. Tasks include, but not limited to communication by written correspondence, in person, or by phone. Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service to increase customer satisfaction, deposit and fee growth in order to meet goals. Must maintain and deliver accurate treasury sales pipeline and closed sales reports on a timely manner. Provide input to Senior Management on treasury product needs.

 

Provides support to the bank staff in order to increase effectiveness and enhance individual performance. Tasks include, but not limited to leading regular informational and sales meetings with staff and sharing performance goals.

Education & Experience

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required (may be waived in lieu of experience)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong customer service orientation required
  • Organizational and supervisory proficiency required
  • Demonstrated ability in external sales effectiveness and business development required
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with a financial/banking organization required or other equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ leadership/management experience.
