Position Summary
Originate and manage a loan portfolio, build relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, timely follow-up on new loan requests and advocate for Small Businesses.
Responsibilities
Help manage the Commercial portfolio with over $120mm and 250 client relationships
Focus on small businesses with typically under $5mm in sales and revenue but also lend to businesses with $10-100mm in sales and revenue
Review loan applications for deals that may range from less than $500k to as large as $1.5mm
No need for after hours work and no business development or sales goals
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in commercial and SBA loans in a Loan Officer or Portfolio Manager role
Must demonstrate excellent customer skills with above-average computer skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to effectively navigate sensitive communication with individuals at multiple levels across the organization.
Effective relationship-building skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; must function as a team player and have the ability to lead projects.
Attention to detail and accuracy is critical and must also demonstrate the ability to think creatively to provide added value to the lending process.
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or other applicable discipline; the appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
