Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing treasury product marketing, product sales demonstration, technical and financial analysis to customers, prospects and internal commercial relationship managers.

Reports to: Senior Vice President/Director of Treasury Management

Responsibilities

Will take a lead role in identifying opportunities and assisting commercial lenders and others as assigned in the marketing and sales of the Bank’s treasury products in order to provide timely and accurate information for the customer and prospects. Tasks include, but not limited to driving portfolio growth by proactively consulting with existing clients, identifying needs, providing timely solutions and implementing change in person and by phone. Proactively scheduling and regularly participating in outside business development opportunities. Creating new sales opportunities by identifying their own prospects and going on calls with commercial lenders and others as assigned. Keeping treasury fee waivers and exceptions low by selling value of treasury products. Self-monitored with feedback provided by the SVP, Treasury Sales Manager.

 

Manages their time to maximize the treasury strategic marketing plan for commercial deposit and fee growth in order to meet the Bank’s plan goals. Tasks include, but not limited to timely preparation of collateral marketing materials and proposals for use in presentations to garner commercial deposits; coordinating with Treasury Manager and Marketing on the design and content of materials. Self-monitored with feedback provided by the SVP, Treasury Sales Manager.

 

 

Communicate within treasury and other departments in order to share information, promote teamwork. Tasks include, but not limited to communication by written correspondence, in person, or by phone. Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service to increase customer satisfaction, deposit and fee growth in order to meet goals. Must maintain and deliver accurate treasury sales pipeline and closed sales reports on a timely manner. Provide input to Treasury Manager on treasury product deficiencies. Self-monitored with feedback provided by the SVP, Treasury Sales Manager.

 

Coordinates problem-solving efforts for customers in order to assist with difficult situations and to respond to situations referred by peers, which require assistance to resolve. Tasks include, but not limited to keeping Treasury Manager updated, researching the situation to establish facts, negotiation with all parties involved and making recommendations while coming to a resolution with a positive outcome. Self-monitored with feedback provided by the SVP, Treasury Sales Manager.

 

Provides support to the bank staff in order to increase effectiveness and enhance individual performance. Tasks include, but not limited to participating in regular informational meetings with staff and sharing performance goals. Self-monitored with feedback provided by the SVP, Treasury Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required (may be waived in lieu of experience)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong customer service orientation required
  • Organizational and supervisory proficiency required
  • Ability to operate office machines required
  • Demonstrated ability in external sales effectiveness and business development preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience with a financial/banking organization required or other equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum two years experience working with public/customers required.
  • Minimum two years sales experience.
